'Ikebana for Everybody' by Ohara School


Whereas Moribana was originated and developed by the Ohara School, Heika, literally 'vase flowers' is part of the ancient historical tradition of ikebana. The tradition is called nageire-bana in Japanese, literally, 'thrown in flowers'. The heika of the Ohara School is a modern, sophisticated interpretation of this traditional style.
